一、 活動重點及目的:

為延續發展EMI同儕教學標竿學習制度(POT)之教師觀課活動,提供教師藉由教師教學同儕觀察學習自我成長的機制,運用Peer observation of teaching建立教學觀摩流程機制,本年度預定建置多種教學法,提供觀察者直接的同儕課堂觀察機會,由學習者的角度來了解不同教學方法的操作方式與優劣處及提供對自己課程反思的機會;提供被觀察者可以得到客觀的資料來了解自己的實際上課情形與問題。

二、活動特色及執行情形:

【課程介紹】

The lesson focuses on applying hypothesis testing procedures in inferential statistics, including formulating hypotheses, selecting appropriate tests, interpreting test statistics, and making evidence-based decisions based on p-values.

【教學方法】

The course employs a variety of teaching strategies, including:

      Context-based learning (real-world scenarios)

      Lecturing (concept explanation)

      Guided instruction (step-by-step demonstration)

      Collaborative learning (group work)

      Immediate feedback and formative assessment

The lesson follows a structured instructional sequence, including attention gaining, concept introduction, guided practice, student performance, and formative assessment.

The students are graduate-level learners from diverse international backgrounds. The instructor delivers the course in English and effectively integrates statistical theory with practical applications through interactive teaching and case-based learning, thereby fostering students’ statistical thinking and research competencies.
