1.      Activity focus and purpose :

To promote bilingual education and enhance students’ English communication and presentation skills, the “Student English Presentation Showcase” is organized to provide a platform for students to express and present in English. Through diverse formats such as oral presentations, project displays, and role-play simulations, students are encouraged to share their learning journeys and reflections in English, thereby strengthening their language proficiency and boosting their confidence.Advising faculty members are invited to join the event to offer on-site guidance and feedback. At the end of the session, teachers will also share insights based on their professional experiences and real-life examples, highlighting students’ strengths in academic English presentations and providing directions for further improvement.This event fosters interaction between faculty and students, enhances students’ intercultural communication competence, and promotes the practical use of English. It serves as a concrete demonstration of the effectiveness of bilingual education initiatives within the College.

This event emphasizes experiential learning, bilingual communication, and the development of academic presentation skills. It offers students the opportunity to practice using English in authentic contexts, while also promoting meaningful interaction between faculty and students. The event serves as a concrete demonstration of the College’s efforts in advancing bilingual education.Students will present their learning outcomes in English in small groups, using diverse formats such as presentations, displays, or role-play simulations to share their learning journeys and reflections. Faculty advisors are invited to provide real-time feedback and suggestions. Drawing on their teaching experiences, instructors will offer in-depth analysis of students’ strengths in academic English presentations and recommend directions for further improvement. The event enhances faculty-student engagement and highlights the effectiveness of the College’s bilingual education initiatives.

2.      I was really nervous at first, worrying that my stage presence would be poor and that I had to maintain eye contact with the audience. But it turned out we could present while seated, and eye contact wasn’t required, so I ended up performing much better than expected. I suggest informing students about the setup in advance so they can prepare accordingly.

3.      This course was very fulfilling and I learned a lot.

4.      It gave me the opportunity to practice giving presentations.

5.      This was my first time doing research. Even though it was just an introductory project, I still gained a lot from the experience.
