1. Activity focus and purpose: In alignment with the 2030 Bilingual Policy, this training program is designed to enable EMI TAs/ATAs to apply classroom facilitation strategies and interactive discussion methods in EMI courses. The program aims to develop EMI TAs’ ability to assist instructors in facilitating classroom activities and promoting interactive learning. 2. Activity Features and Implementation: 【Course introduction】
In recent years, the university has been progressively promoting English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI). Therefore, this course is designed to help TAs and ATAs better understand how to apply the CLEAR model and serve as an important bridge supporting both instructors and students in EMI courses. 1) Course Title:EMI TA Advanced Training Course–“CLEAR the Way: Strategic Pathways to High-Impact EMI TA Facilitation” Instructor:Yi-Hung Liao(Director, Dawu Mountain College, National Pingtung University)
