1.      Activity focus and purpose

As the Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, a special event is held to make colorful ropes. According to legend, colorful ropes have the meaning of good luck and peace. Therefore, students are allowed to make their own ropes with special meanings, and international students can experience this unique cultural activity.

2.      Activity features and implementation

   At the beginning of the activity, the teacher played a video for students to watch, and then personally demonstrated the techniques of weaving colorful ropes. With hard work, many students made their own colorful ropes, some made them into hanging ornaments, and some made into bracelets. This activity not only tested the students' craftsmanship, but also allowed international students to experience the unique customs of Dragon Boat Festival.
