1.         It’s a very very inspiring speech, thanks a lot for the sharing!

2.         Professor speech lights up pathway for academic career pursue

3.         I acquired valuable knowledge and insights.

4.         I think this presentation is very inspiring. When I felt lost during my medical internship, I would always think of what professor said, thanks for this amazing presentation.

5.         Thanks for giving us such a great speech that inspired us a lot!

6.         I believe this lecture was very helpful in enhancing my understanding of career development in the medical field.

7.         Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with us! My favorite part is where you said to "say yes when asked (but eventually learn to say no)" because that was incredibly insightful. I definitely think that as students we should take every opportunity we get, but it's equally important to eventually learn to draw our own boundaries and not be a pushover!

8.         Thank you, Dr. Eberlin, for your incredible speech! It was truly inspiring and deeply motivating. Hearing about your journey from medical school at Boston University to becoming a hand surgeon at the Mass General was both fascinating and eye-opening. I was especially moved by your emphasis on the importance of hard work, taking initiative, and putting yourself out there. The way you’ve managed to build a fulfilling career while maintaining a balanced life filled with family, hobbies, and joy is something I genuinely admire. Your enthusiasm and passion for your profession are contagious, and they reminded me why I chose to study medicine in the first place. Thank you again for sharing your story — it left a lasting impression on me. :)

9.         I hope I can also get into a specialty I truly love, just like you! Loving our job really matters.

10.     I really enjoyed the lecture, and I felt very inspired by his life story. Hopefully, I may find a specialty that make me as passionate as he is to his.

11.     It was a valuable opportunity to learn from such a distinguished surgeon from Harvard. As a second-year post-baccalaureate medical student, I found Dr. Eberlin’s talk both motivating and deeply inspiring. His insights on discovering one’s passion, navigating career paths, and making thoughtful choices to balance professional and personal priorities were especially helpful. The speech really prompted me to reflect on my own aspirations and long-term goals in the medical field. Thanks again for organizing such a meaningful event!

12.     Dr. Kyle Eberlin talked about the balance between career and life, and also shared his daily routine at the hospital as well as the qualities and passion required to be a doctor. It was a great and inspiring talk.

13.     It was very thought-provoking.

14.     What I learned in this lecture: * There is no substitute for the hard work. * Excellence needs your heart and soul. * Ask yourself how would you maintain your motivation throughout the whole training which may sometimes be hard and grueling?  * If we want to be great, we must love what we do. * Write things down to make your thinking more clear and concrete. * Teach people so you learn more. * Have some meaningful life outside of hospital. * Don’t say no in the beginning of your career. * To get involved in a community, take some small roles and at least give one good result in one significant project. Eventually we’ll be handed with important projects. * Wake up early to be productive.

15.     The speaker delivered a well-prepared and passionate presentation, from which I gained a great deal. Regrettably, I had to leave early due to a class at 1 PM; otherwise, I would have very much liked to stay and continue listening.

16.     The course content allows us to understand the similarities/differences between our training and that of physicians in different countries, and can also trigger ideas for future efforts

17.     Really helpful and inspiring!

18.     Learned a lot. Lighted up my career path somehow.

19.     I undoubtedly appreciate that Dr. Eberlin devotes himself into understanding the secret of nerve connection and hope that I would also have the same passion for the neurology!

20.     This was such an amazing presentation! It was really empowering and inspiring. My biggest take away is finding your intrinsic passion so that you’ll always be passionate about what you are doing. It was also a great opportunity to learn about the career path of a Harvard physician. Thank you for this great speech and it really made me recall my motivation of entering the medical field.

21.     I really enjoyed this lecture. It was great to connect with doctors from different countries and hear their perspectives. I thought the speaker was excellent; they covered almost all the questions we had in their presentation. It also showed us how far passion can take us. Thank you so much to the speaker for sharing.

22.     This is a very inspiring speech for us, thank you for delivering it!

23.     It’s really inspiring!!! Thanks for arranging the speech!

24.     I am really impressed by how humble the professor was. Although he has achieved so many goals in his career, he still remember his original intention and keep seeking self-enhancement. And that’t what we have to learn from him.

25.     I am very honored to participate in this lecture. The whole speech was very exciting!

26.     This is a meaningful presentation. Help me a lot in gaining experimental knowledge. I'm grateful.

27.     Thanks for the gorgeous experience-sharing

28.     I had long felt uncertain about how to balance research with the demanding workload of being a physician in the future. I have always believed that being a good doctor involves more than simply following existing guidelines—it requires actively investigating the unresolved challenges in modern medicine. I hold a deep passion for this pursuit.  Despite a busy academic schedule, I dedicated my spare time to research. However, I often found myself overwhelmed and questioned my path, especially when most of my classmates were fully focused on preparing for exams. After today’s lecture, I feel more certain that I am not alone in this journey. It reaffirmed my belief in the path I’ve chosen and helped me envision a clearer goal for my future in medicine. I hope that one day, I too can become a physician who embodies this spirit.

29.     Very informative and inspiring!

30.     This is a truly impressive speech.
