1.    Activity focus and purpose:

     With the rapid global development and internationalization of the medical field, medical students are expected to possess strong clinical and research capabilities and demonstrate excellent academic English proficiency and international communication skills to establish themselves in the global medical community.

     The Ministry of Education’s “Bilingual Learning Program for University Students” aims to enhance the English proficiency of Taiwanese students, enabling them to effectively engage in international exchange, academic research, and advanced professional discussions. This event invites a world-renowned scholar to strengthen their professional English communication skills and deepen their understanding of global medical trends.

     This event features Dr. Kyle Eberlin, current President of the American Association for Hand Surgery (AAHS) and Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Eberlin will share his academic and career development journey in surgery. With rich clinical and research experience and long-term dedication to medical education, Dr. Eberlin will provide students with first-hand insights into academic and professional development in the international medical arena. This event will assist students in understanding how to achieve success in educational and clinical fields.
