1. Activity focus and purpose : This activity aims to enhance the content of the “English for Oral Medicine (EN)” course materials in response to the varying levels of English proficiency among students from different departments within the College. The workshop will be based on the textbook Dental Hygiene: Theory and Practice as well as instructor-developed English fill-in-the-blank materials. Foreign instructors are invited to participate in the review and discussion process to provide linguistic refinement and support. The goal is to improve the accuracy of language use, the clarity of professional expressions, and the overall academic quality of the teaching materials, while ensuring that the course content aligns with students’ learning needs and clinical applications. Through this course material enhancement initiative, we aim to strengthen students’ comprehension and practical use of professional English, thereby improving teaching quality and learning outcomes. Ultimately, the project seeks to cultivate oral health professionals equipped with both international communication skills and professional competence, and to lay the groundwork for the future development of a dedicated English for Oral Medicine course manual. 2. Activity Content: Workshop This activity focuses on four main themes: (1) Review of current course implementation and analysis of student learning needs, (2) Planning of course structure and teaching material design, (3) Development of instructional materials and presentation design practice, and (4) Content review and overall curriculum enhancement. The theme of this session is “Review of Current Course Status and Analysis of Student Learning Needs.” Through in-depth collaboration and dialogue with foreign instructors, the activity aims to comprehensively enhance the quality of teaching and improve student learning outcomes. 3.
