1. Activity focus and purpose:
By hosting the "International Academic Exchange Conference with Dr. Hua Hong Chien at the School of Dentistry," the event aims to enhance the academic expertise of our faculty, foster the development of EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) course instructors, and promote international academic exchange. This initiative seeks to deepen the collaboration between the School of Dentistry and international academic institutions. Dr. Hua Hong Chien, an expert from the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, has been specially invited as a lecturer to engage in in-depth academic discussions and knowledge sharing. 2. Activity features and implementation:
15 minutes: Attendees’ registrations and event briefing. 15 minutes: Welcome address and keynote speech by the chief. 60 minutes: Academic exchange session presented by Dr. Chien. 30 minutes: Engaging Q&A discussion and communication with participants.
3. Quality indicators of activities The international exchange lecture co-hosted with Dr. Hua Hong Chien received high praise from participating faculty and students. Attendees expressed that the lecture was rich in content and that the overall event was well-organized. Faculty members generally found the exchange engaging and rewarding, gaining valuable insights.
