1.      Activity focus and purpose :

In order to encourage teachers in the hospital to promote EMI teaching activities and improve the English conversation skills of teachers, staff, and students, the "EMI English Conversation between Foreign Teachers and Staff Students" event was planned. Invite foreign lecturers to discuss current affairs issues in English with our faculty, staff, and students, and share their personal opinions to improve your personal English conversation skills.

This event focuses on the theme of "Health and Well-being," addressing modern challenges in maintaining health, mental well-being, and stress management. It explores topics such as exercise habits, nutritional diets, mental health, and the application of digital technology in promoting health. The discussion also covers how to maintain physical and mental balance in a busy lifestyle and how to enhance personal health literacy to meet the demands of modern life. The event not only deepens participants’ understanding of the importance of health and well-being but also provides practical advice and strategies to help them effectively promote their own health and that of others, ultimately improving overall quality of life.

2.      It's great that we have an environment where we can speak English. In the past, from elementary school to junior high and high school, English exams mostly focused on listening and reading skills, so speaking was relatively weak. Because we were afraid of making mistakes, we often didn't dare to speak. The teacher patiently encourages us to express our opinions, and even if we don't fully express our ideas, the teacher helps to supplement them. I think that's great.
