1. Activity focus and purpose : In order to encourage teachers in the hospital to promote EMI teaching activities and improve the English conversation skills of teachers, staff, and students, the "EMI English Conversation between Foreign Teachers and Staff Students" event was planned. Invite foreign lecturers to discuss current affairs issues in English with our faculty, staff, and students, and share their personal opinions to improve your personal English conversation skills. 2. Activity features and implementation : This event centers around the theme of “Social Issues and Civic Engagement,” focusing on current events, activism, and topics related to equality and justice in today’s society. Discussions will explore a range of pressing issues including gender equality, environmental justice, racial inclusion, and freedom of expression. Participants will examine the role of individuals in a civil society and how meaningful dialogue, advocacy, and action can lead to positive social change. The event also highlights the influence of digital media and social platforms in shaping public discourse and mobilizing communities. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of media literacy and critical thinking in navigating a world of information overload. Through open conversations and real-life examples, attendees will gain deeper insight into social justice issues and learn practical strategies for engagement. Ultimately, the event aims to inspire participants to take informed action, contribute to a more equitable society, and enrich their lives through conscious civic participation.. 3.
