1.      Activity focus and purpose :

In order to encourage teachers in the hospital to promote EMI teaching activities and improve the English conversation skills of teachers, staff, and students, the "EMI English Conversation between Foreign Teachers and Staff Students" event was planned. Invite foreign lecturers to discuss current affairs issues in English with our faculty, staff, and students, and share their personal opinions to improve your personal English conversation skills.

2.      Activity features and implementation :

The theme of this event is "Global Issues," focusing on the major challenges currently facing the world. Topics include climate change, environmental sustainability, wealth inequality, public health, technological ethics, human rights, and the distribution of educational resources. Participants are encouraged to explore diverse perspectives on global realities and to develop intercultural communication skills and a broader international outlook. The event emphasizes how global issues influence personal values, social responsibility, and collective action. Through group discussions and case studies, participants will be guided to reflect on the connection between themselves and the world, and to consider how local actions can contribute to global change, fostering a more inclusive and resilient society.

3.      Quality indicators of activities

1.      No suggestions. The class was very interesting.

2.      It was very interesting, and the teacher was very friendly.

3.      This session was relatively serious, but it led me to look up the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, which turned out to be an unexpected gain.
