1. Activity focus and purpose:
The purpose of hosting the "Dr. Liu Chun-Lin International Academic Exchange Conference" at the College of Dental Medicine is to enhance the academic level of our faculty, support the development of EMI (English-Medium Instruction) instructors, and foster international academic exchange. This event aims to deepen cooperation between the College of Dental Medicine and international scholastic institutions. We are honored to invite Dr. Liu Chun-Lin, an expert scholar from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, to share insights on full mouth reconstruction and interdisciplinary treatment.
2. Activity features and implementation:
15 minutes: Attendees’ registrations and event briefing. 15 minutes: Welcome address and keynote speech by the chief. 60 minutes: Academic exchange session presented by Dr. Liu. 30 minutes: Engaging Q&A discussion and communication with participants.
3. Quality indicators of activities
The international academic exchange conference with Dr. Liu received high praise from participants. Attendees expressed that the content of the lecture, combining a clear image-based teaching demonstration, was greatly informative and comprehensible. Following the presentation, Dr. Liu engaged in a lively Q&A session with faculty and students, contributing to a deeper understanding and advancement in the specialized field of oral hygiene for the entire staff and students of KMU. Participating teachers generally found the exchange event enriching and gained significant insights. They also expect to continue in it to renowned scholars to deliver lectures, thereby fostering professional and humanistic quality at KMU, and enhancing practical skills and experience. This event received overwhelmingly positive feedback and further promoted professional exchange between the institution and the international community.
