1.      Activity focus and purpose :

To enhance the students’ abilities of logic thinking and oral presentation skills through the contest.

2.      Activity features and implementation :

1.      The topic could be one of the followings:

Research results, scientific reading report, research thesis, or others.

2.      Contest rules:

A.    The presentation time is limited up to 5 minutes each.  Less than 3 minutes or more than 5 minutes will result in credits deducted.

B.     There will be a ring to remind time at 4 minutes and 30 seconds, and a ring at 5 minutes to end the presentation.

C.    The contestants can use slides, but no scripts allowed.

3. Grading rules:

A.    Language fluency: 40%

B.     Presentation contents: 40%

C.    Performance on the stage 20%

4. Awards:

A.    First Place (1 person): TWD10,000 and a certificate.

B.     Second Place (1 person): TWD8,000 and a certificate.

C.    Third Place (1 person): TWD6,000 and a certificate.

D.    Outstanding (3 persons): TWD4,000 and a certificate

E.     Superion (several persons): TWD 2000 and a certificate
