1.      Activity focus and purpose :

To enhance students' interest in learning English, promote diversified and lively English learning approaches, drama is adopted as a medium to incorporate English into the script and motivate students to learn English. Emphasis is placed on proper and excellent English pronunciation to ensure effective learning outcomes.

2.      Activity features and implementation :

Through situational simulations such as drama and animation, students are encouraged to actively engage in practicing English pronunciation and intonation, thereby improving their oral communication skills in English.

Summary of feedback and suggestions:

The content and format of this event are quite new to me but I believe that I can teach better for EMI courses in the future.

The content and format of this event are quite new to me but I believe that I can teach better for EMI courses in the future.

We had lots of discussions with the peers (other teachers who were in the student position at the moment), but in some cases I would actually prefer to do global discussion so I can also know the opinion of the course instructor to the topic - we did part of the discussions that way, e.g. when we were sharing our ideas about how to make shy students active, and this brought many more ideas to me than chatting with my peers without a general evaluation by the teacher (sometimes the teacher added something very important to that in whole-class discussions which helped me to understand why this is needed or useful, but without this additional hint I was sceptical that this way can be really helpful).

As an EMI TA, I learn a lot about the teaching curriculum. I hope to join in future events.

It was exactly the information I was looking for.
