1. Activity focus and purpose : This community was established with the goal of assisting teachers in using English as a tool for communication on campus at any time, including dialogues among teacher peers, interactions between teachers and students, and even discussions in meetings or academic forums. The aim is to create an English-friendly environment on campus, allowing both teachers and students to become accustomed to frequent English conversations, gradually eliminating fear and discomfort associated with speaking English. 2. Activity features and implementation : The community event has invited two speakers: Professor Yang Liqin from our school's Language Center and Project Manager Li Yuerong from an external translation company. They will share practical tips on using English in daily life and applying structural logic. The community encourages participating teachers to undergo a "One Week Full English Autonomous Training Experience." After each event, a dedicated 30 minutes will be set aside for community members to share their experiences of using English exclusively for a week. 3. Quality indicators of activities - This is a very innovative community! - We hope more teachers will embrace "OhYiOh," and if it feels awkward, let's embrace the awkwardness together! - Perhaps, we can organize weekly English Corner sessions with a designated theme and regular meetings. Additionally, we can invite a foreigner to participate to facilitate English practice for everyone. - We can gradually expand this initiative beyond community members to include others who are not part of the community.
