1. Activity focus and purpose : To cultivate students' ability to fluently communicate and express professionalism in English during their academic years and beyond graduation, our club organizes fully English events. We invite Professor Lai Li-An to introduce students to commonly used analytical methods in pharmacoeconomics, such as Cost-minimization analysis (CMA), Cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA), Cost-utility analysis (CUA), and Cost-benefit analysis (CBA). This aims to familiarize participants with the concepts of pharmacoeconomics, strengthen their English listening and reading skills, and encourage them to express their opinions in English. By discussing in English, students are encouraged to engage with the material using the language they will likely encounter in academic and professional settings, thus expanding their bilingual and international perspectives.
