Activity focus and purpose : The event is organized in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s “Bilingual Education Program for College Students (Academic Year 2025).” We are pleased to invite Associate Professor Yu-Peng Liu from the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University, as the guest speaker for the EMI Faculty Development Workshop.
Associate Professor Liu has conducted in-depth research on EMI (English-Medium Instruction) teaching. In addition to participating in EMI class observations and discussions, he has also led EMI faculty learning communities for several years, developing unique insights into EMI pedagogy.
This workshop will present perspectives from different departments and demonstrate diverse teaching tools and strategies to enhance our faculty’s skills in EMI course preparation and classroom instruction.
